Delightful. My sister lives in Cairns! And my parents and my daughter.
It was our first stop and I was a bit jet lagged so I didn’t see much of it (except of course the reef). But I had time to take a walk and take some pictures…it’s beautiful.
You have an excuse to return one day to see more.

Just wondering….did you happen to see any of the beautiful Aboriginal art when you were in Cairns?
We didn’t have time to do any shopping (due to a snafu with Qantas planes, we were 24 hours late arriving) so I didn’t see any in Cairns, but I did bag the tour for a day in Alice Springs and saw a bunch there.
